Loved the location. Rooms very new and nice. Close enough to walk to Teatro Massimo where we had tickets for a concert. Took taxis to different areas for my husband elderly and can't walk far. Went to lunch at a Rocco Forte hotel further away overlooking the ocean, but we still wanted to be more in the center w/ our hotel (not beach/pool trip) near all the old world buildings, museums, cathedral. Found a fab Miles Davis Jazz club not too far away. Ate in our hotel for breakfast 1 day and afternoon / evening snacks/drinks. The hotel also had a new rooftop covered restaurant/bar area which was nice also for early evening drinks/snacks w/city views. We took Ubers also, but hotel can help get taxis or drivers. Enjoyed very much!

Staff kind and attentive, state of the art refurbishment, nice roof garden with restaurant and live music on certains dates, comfortable beds, abundant and varied breakfast in a stunning hall. The location in via Roma is one of the main streets, not too far from the center, but far enough to be quiet and close to a pedestiran area.

We were upgraded to a suite - possibly because a Honda conference had taken over the hotel. The conference didn't cause us any problems and it was great to have so much space. The suite was very comfortable and the shower superb. The TV had only Italian channels, You Tube and BBC world news - these days you often get at least Netflix....The suite was very impersonal, not a single picture on the wall, no plants, no cushions, it didn't matter but it would have made the space a bit more homely. The fantastic thing about the hotel is its public rooms. The dining room was absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. The dining-room staff were very efficient. The location is good and very quiet at night. It's 20-minute stroll to the Quatro Canti . We would happily stay here again.

Great staff who helped with luggage. Always smiling and generally happy to help at all times. Breakfast was amazing but did get busy on the second day and we had to line up and wait to be seated.

Best breakfast anywhere! Also, great specialty drinks at the downstairs Mixology Bar. Gorgeous property, especially the artwork and sculptures! Concierge was very helpful.

We stayed here 4 years ago and really liked the ambience and the attitudes of the staff then. That is still the same a really pleasant welcome and nice vibe around the hotel and it has been completely refurbished during COVID. It is an upmarket hotel but that doesn’t guarantee they always get it right but at this hotel they do it is a great experience and a very pleasant and smiley place to be when you enter or exit the hotel. When we checked in (early as I had emailed them) our room was ready and the reception desk were very polite and attentive. It has clean, modern rooms and very comfortable beds with a great layout in the bathroom.

This Hotel was fantastic. They accommodated an early check after a long overnight flight and gave us complimentary breakfast on arrival. Very helpful front desk. Breakfast was great. Room and bathroom was larger than expected. We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes. Busy outside but very relaxed and calm when stepping into hotel.
